No Visa Required (NVR) For Bangladeshi Origin Foreign National

Bangladeshi origin foreign nationals (except SAARC countries) are eligible for endorsement of “No Visa Required to Travel to Bangladesh” stamp on their foreign passports. Their (foreign born) spouses and children are also eligible for this endorsement, which allows the holder multiple entries into Bangladesh with unlimited duration of stay within the validity of the passport.

Important:

Application Submission Time is from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Delivery Time is from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Step by step guideline/instructions to fill up the form for applying NVR

The applicant has to submit the following for NVR Stamp:

1. Duly filled-in application form generated/ printed (with bar code) after submission of information online at visa.gov.bd
02. 02 copies of recent colour photographs. The photos should be-

- Clear, with no shadows
- not older than 6 months
- with white background
- Standard passport-size photo
- The applicant should be looking straight at the camera
- Photos should be taken without spectacles

3. Existing foreign passport, in original, with a validity of at least six months
4. Relevant Documents

(A) NVR for the Bangladesh-origin foreign national: At least one photocopy of the following documents	Photocopy of Bangladeshi passport (name spelling with the foreign passport required to be same. If any difference in names appears, endorsement/amendment/ correction in Bangladesh Passport must be done beforehand.) OR – Photocopy of national ID Card OR – Photocopy of 17-digit Birth Registration Certificate OR – Photocopy of the Old Passport with NVR
(B) NVR for foreign born child of the Bangladesh-origin foreign national:	Photocopy of child’s Bangladeshi passport / Birth Certificate/ NID Photocopy of current/ expired Bangladeshi passport/ Birth Certificate/ NID/ NVR of the applicant’s parents with family certificate
(C) NVR for foreigner spouse of the Bangladesh-origin foreign national:	Photocopy of Bangladeshi passport of the his/her spouse (Bangladesh-origin foreign national) AND – Photocopy of valid marriage documents attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka or valid marriage certificate from the concerned foreign authorities OR – Declaration of the relationship and request for issuance of NVR, by the spouse (Bangladesh-origin foreign national)

5. A copy of Receipt of Payment

An amount of SEK 500 is to be paid for issuance of a NVR. Applicant may pay to the designated Bank account
The Visa Fee is Non-refundable

Postage fee (if the applicant would like to collect the passport by post, the applicant has to pay the following additional fee along with the visa Stamp fee):
Self-addressed envelope with payment receipt of postage fee.

Within Sweden:

SEK 120 for one passport
Additional SEK 20 per each additional passport in the same postal/courier service

From Norway and Finland:

SEK 140 for one passport
Additional SEK 20 per each additional passport in the same postal/courier service
